Knockout mode — rules, rewards & Global vs SEA
Elimination-style race where last-place drivers drop each lap until one winner remains.
Global availability
Introduced on the SEA server in the December 2025 hotfix alongside Knockout Storm events. Global server may ship the mode on a different season schedule — check your live Home / Events menu before assuming it is live.
Before you chase Knockout rewards
- Open Events and the mode menu — if Knockout or Knockout Storm is absent, do not trust SEA reward screenshots.
- Note whether rewards are one-time milestone boxes, daily attempts, or ranked-adjacent currency — labels differ by season.
- Screenshot unclaimed tiers before the timer ends; SEA archive events on this site did not run on Global.
- If Knockout pays car shards or Keys, confirm which banner or class the token binds to before spending elsewhere.
- Cross-check Events for any live Global knockout window — archived SEA entries are reference only.
Common mistakes
- Farming SEA Knockout Storm guides when your Events tab shows Global launch events only.
- Queueing Knockout for RP — ranked RP lives in Ranked Race, not elimination modes.
- Ignoring car class restrictions on limited knockout stages — bring the class the stage asks for.
- Assuming elimination rewards beat a live login streak or banner pity math without reading the timer.

- Queueing ranked while the real bottleneck is route study or upgrades—RP will stall.
- Splitting one short session across three modes and finishing none of the daily missions.
- Ignoring a live event shop or voucher exchange because “ranked is always best.”
- Opening Duel for solo RP expectations—RP lives in Ranked Race.
- Treating an old mode tier list as current without checking the live menu after a patch.
