After install — fastest way to tell Global vs SEA
Your App Store country, VPN flag, or APK source alone does not prove which live server you got. The fastest checks happen inside the game after Primary Resources finish:
- Open Events — do the banners match this site's Events page (Global launch tracks), not SEA-only collabs?
- Redeem one code from /codes — Global codes work here; SEA/JP-only codes fail by design on Global.
- Compare obtainable cars with /cars filtered to Global — wrong-server pools waste upgrade planning.

Download size & faster install
Many players see a small store download, then a much larger "Primary Resources" bar in-game. That two-step flow is expected — not a bait-and-switch.
Two-step download — store size vs Primary Resources
The App Store or Google Play listing shows a smaller install size (~3 GB). After you open the game, it downloads Primary Resources in a second step — often shown as about 5,984 MB. That is normal for NetEase mobile titles, not a hidden charge or scam.
- Store install: ~3 GB
- In-game Primary Resources: ~5,984 MB (~6 GB)
- Recommended free space: 12–15 GB
How to download faster
- Use stable Wi‑Fi and keep the game in the foreground until Primary Resources finishes — switching apps or locking the screen can pause or slow the download.
- Free up 12–15 GB before you start. The store size plus in-game Primary Resources together exceed the ~10 GB figure many listings show.
- Turn off VPN and proxy tools. They often throttle or break NetEase CDN downloads.
- Avoid peak evening hours on shared home Wi‑Fi if you can. A wired connection or 5 GHz Wi‑Fi is faster than congested mobile data.
- Plug in your phone and disable battery saver for the install session so the OS does not kill background network work.
- If progress stalls for 30+ minutes, force-close the app, restart your device, and resume on Wi‑Fi — do not clear game data unless support asks you to.
- On PC emulator (MuMu, BlueStacks, or LDPlayer), reserve at least 15 GB free disk space and run the emulator as Administrator when required.

Common download issues
Why does the store say ~3GB but Primary Resources shows 5984MB?
Racing Master uses a two-step download. The store package is roughly 3 GB; after first launch the game downloads Primary Resources (~5,984 MB / ~6 GB) for tracks, cars, and audio. Both steps are required before you can play.
Is the 5984MB download a scam or hidden fee?
No. Primary Resources is free game data, not a purchase. NetEase and many mobile publishers split the install this way so the store download starts faster. The total footprint is closer to 12–15 GB once everything is cached.
How can I download Racing Master faster?
Use stable Wi‑Fi, keep the app open until Primary Resources completes, turn off VPN, free 12–15 GB storage, plug in your device, and avoid peak network hours. See the faster download checklist on this page for the full list.
How large is the Racing Master download?
Plan for ~3 GB from the store plus ~5,984 MB Primary Resources in-game — about 12–15 GB total free space recommended. The initial APK/IPA alone is not the full game.
Racing Master won't install on my Android — what's wrong?
Check that you're running Android 7.0+, have 12–15 GB free storage, and your device has at least 4GB RAM. Devices below Snapdragon 820 may show compatibility errors.
Can I play Racing Master on iPhone X or XR?
Officially no — Racing Master requires at minimum an iPhone with A13 chip (iPhone 11 or newer). iPhone X, XS, and XR are not supported.
Is Racing Master on Steam?
No. Racing Master is not available on Steam. PC players should use MuMu Player (official NetEase link), BlueStacks, or LDPlayer.
